Shower or Bath for Vinotherapy?

Shower or Bath for VinoTherapy?

With winter almost upon us, it is time to up our skin care game. With the heat turned on in our homes along with the colder weather, it all takes a toll on our skin's moisture level. Turn your home into a Home-Spa experience.

Make a choice between a shower or bath. A shower can take less time and has the benefits of creating steamy air to breath in, while a bath with properly conditioned water can help drink in the nutrients and provide relaxation. Whichever is your choice of the moment, here are some great tips to create that Home-Spa experience.

Create the Spa:

Towel: Warm a towel in the dryer and then...

Be present: If thoughts come to mind, acknowledge them and let them go. This is your time. Be present. Listen. Feel. Smell.

Lighting: Draw the blinds or curtains. Light a VinoSpa Candle prior to drawing your bath so that the room is filled with the mood you want to create. Choose VinoSpa Happy, Relax, Healthy or Mindful. When ready, dim the lights.

Sound: Choose complete silence or choose light and smooth music to play in the background. We suggest not playing music that has vocals as it can be distracting.

Then Choose the Noble Spa Shower or Bath:

The Noble Spa Shower

Shower: Soak some Noble Spa in a gauze or organza bag in warm water and then hang it on the shower head.
Allow the room to fill with the incredible steamy scents that will enhance your adventure.

Hair: Try our Moisturizing Bar on your hair and follow up with a tiny bit of Oil rubbed through your hair by combing it with your fingers. If your hair is curly, do a scrunching motion or just straight through if your hair is straight.

Face: Gentle massage in Facial Cleanse all over your face and rinse with lukewarm water, using pre-moistened Fabric. Fabric is gentle enough to remove eye cosmetics with water.

Wash: Continuing with the Moisturizing bar, massage it into a cleansing glove or shower puff to get a good suds. This natural soap is safe for all parts of your body.

Shave: With the suds still on the areas in which you wish to shave, gently remove the suds with the shaver.

Exfoliate: Use caution if you shave and have nicks or small cuts in your skin as our Body Scrub contains salts. Take a quarter size at a time of the Body Scrub in your hands or on a cleansing glove. Massage on your skin always moving upwards in gentle but exfoliating motions. Take the time to really feel the salts and products start their healing and cleansing process. Breathe in the blends of essential oils and escape the worry of the day by cleansing your head and thinking of the simplicity of health and a calm mind. Allow the product to sit on your skin for a minute or so by backing away from the water flow and just enjoy the steam. Step back under the cleansing flow of water and allow the Scrub to rinse off your skin, leaving it cleansed,

Dry: Pat dry with a soft towel.

Tone: Apply Tone to any areas you may have shaved to heal and restore your pH balance.

Massage: Take some VinoSpa Oil and massage into your skin enjoying the feel as it hydrates and softens the skin immediately. Pay attention to any areas that may be still tight.

MoisturizeVinoSpa Butter is the 'piece de resistance' in our line and we have had so many amazing testimonials on its healing ability. Take a quarter size amount, massaging it gently into your hands feeling it melt and now is the time to start your application. Close your eyes and be present. Enjoy the feel of the Butter absorbing into your skin, the essential oils surrounding and filling your senses and creating total relaxation.

The Noble Spa Bath

Moisten the air: For a spa-like experience, put a humidifier in your bathroom during your bath. Add a burst of aroma by adding a few drops of VinoSpa Roller Ball oil to the water. Choose VinoSpa Happy, Relax, Healthy or Mindful. Give the room about 10 minutes to fill with moisture.

Bath: Take a tablespoon or two of Noble Spa and pop into the tub water, either freely floating or in a little gauze bag.

Precondition skin: Take a small amount of VinoSpa Body Scrub and on dampened skin and massage into your areas that you wish to exfoliate in a circular motion. You may use a loofah or exfoliating glove. Take time to work the dry skin area, but also be gentle.

Soak: Immerse yourself into the tub, and start your soak. Feel how soft the water is from the kelp and salts. Allow your skin to drink in all the nutrients from the grapes and calendula.

Wash: Take one of VinoSpa bars and continue your cleansing process.

Relax: This is the perfect time to read, or simply close your eyes and relax. This time is just for you. We suggest 10 to 20 minutes. Over soaking can lead to over drying.
